With tears in my eyes, I hugged Nelson so tight as I sobbed the more.

“It’s okay, Baby!” Nelson consoled.

We stayed hugged for some minutes before we disengaged.

“You feel better now right?” Nelson asked.

“Yes,” I replied with smiles.

“Don’t worry, all will be fine,” Nelson said as he planted a kiss on my lips.

“Thanks, baby,” I replied.

We both lay on the bed holding each other tight.

My mind drifted to how my tomorrow will be.

“I think I will go for the Laboratory test first before heading to Port Harcourt,” I thought to myself.

“After the test tomorrow, I will drive you to Port Harcourt,” Nelson cut in.

“How did you know that?” I asked with a surprising look.

“I guessed your conversation with your mom from your replies,” Nelson replied.

“Smart big head!” I teased Nelson.

He giggled and drew me closer to kiss my lips.

We kissed passionately for some seconds before I abruptly stopped him.

“What’s wrong, Baby?” Nelson asked.

“You!” I replied.

“What did I do?” Nelson further asked.

“The way you crave after my body, don’t you think it will make you grow tired of it soon?” I concernedly cut in.

Nelson burst into loud laughter, and I pushed him away playfully.

He laughed the more, then we were interrupted again by a knock at the door.

“Who is there?” Nelson yelled.

“From the Kitchen Sir,” a female voice replied.

“Mtcheeew… I have forgotten that we ordered for something,” Nelson murmured as he walked to get the door.

The kitchen staff walked into the room and delivered our order on the table.

“Thank you,” I said.

“You are welcome Ma’am,” the pretty kitchen staff replied with smiles as she walked away.

Nelson shut the door…

“I like her!” I said to Nelson with smiles.

“Who?” Nelson asked with a confused stare.

“The kitchen lady,” I replied.

“Baby! You keep liking everyone you see,” Nelson said as he sat to uncover the food that was served.

“Her smile is beautiful,” I chimed in as I climbed down from the bed to help him.

“I don’t even know or recognize her face,” Nelson retorted.

“But I did!” I cut in.

“That’s good. Should I go and call her for you?” Nelson asked in sarcasm.

“Biko shift…big head,” I replied with giggles.

“Yes naa… I don’t understand the much emphasis,” Nelson chimed in as he allowed me to serve him.

We ate and drank as Nelson entertained me with his mischievous stories while growing up.

I laughed all through that evening as I thanked God for calming my storm in my thoughts.

“Baby, it’s getting late o, we should be heading home,” Nelson said to me.

“What’s the time?” I asked.

“8:10 Pm, and we still need to pick something for Blessing,” Nelson reminded.

“Oh! That’s true Baby,” I replied as I stood up for us to start going.

I arranged my dress and hair as Nelson wore his polo shirt and we were ready to leave.

“Come here,” Nelson demanded with open arms.

I hugged him as he planted a kiss on my forehead…

“I love you, baby, “Nelson whispered.

“I love you too,” I replied as we disengaged and left the room, holding hands.
