SHE – EPISODE 33

I went straight into the supermarket to pick the bread I wanted.

As I was on it, my phone beeped.

It was Felix…

I picked up immediately because I felt he would be growing worried-sick.

ME: Hello baby.

FELIX: Baby, are you okay?

ME: Yes baby, just that the shop didn’t have the exact bread so I stepped forward the more at the closest supermarket. But I will be leaving there in less than a minute.

FELIX: It’s alright baby. I’m waiting…

And he hung up***

I hurriedly paid at the counter and left the supermarket.

I had to stop a Keke-napep to drop me at home.

After about an extra 5 minutes; I was in front of our compound’s gate,

I paid the Keke-guy and walked into my apartment.

As I got to my room, I found out that Felix arranged the bed and got the house in order.

That was relieving and romantic.

I couldn’t stop the genuine smiles that I gave to him with a hug.

“Thank you, baby,” I whispered into his ears as I grinned from one side of my mouth to the other.

“Anything for you my princess,” Felix replied.

We both disengaged from the hug as I moved to the kitchen to get his breakfast ready.

He lay back on the foam and relaxed with a movie that he was seeing before I got back to the house.

After about an extra 15 minutes; I served his breakfast with an omelet.

“Baby, sit up and take your breakfast,” I beckoned.

“Wow! This looks delicious,” Felix said with smiles as he readjusted to eat on the foam.

“Maybe you should taste it first naa,” I retorted.

“No baby, I trust your cooking,” Felix cut in as he took a bite of the sliced bread.

“So you are having your own breakfast in bed right?” I sarcastically added.

We both burst into loud laughter as I left him to enjoy his breakfast and walked back into the kitchen.

I didn’t feel like having tea and bread anymore.

I was just having this unnecessary craving that morning.

“What’s wrong? Maybe this is my ovulation o,” I said in an undertone as I looked around for noodles to cook.

“Wait o, we made love last night and I’m sure Felix didn’t use any form of protection,” I forgetfully remembered.

I rushed out of the kitchen in a panic.

“Baby, what’s wrong?”Felix asked as he paused with his breakfast.

“Did we make love with protection?” I asked.

“I don’t think so, baby,” Felix replied.

“What should I do?” I asked as I stood confused with my stares.

“Baby, I’m sorry. I don’t even know if I released inside of you,” Felix said as he stood from the foam to hold me as he saw the fears in my eyes.

“It’s okay, baby. I’m sorry, but you will do nothing about it,” Felix said as he hugged me tight to calm me down.

“What if I get pregnant because I just noticed I’m on my ovulation,” I asked with a trembling tone.

“If you are pregnant, then we start making plans immediately. I need you to be calm,” Felix cut in.

As I was about responding to his affirmation we got a knock at the door.
