AGE 30 – EPISODE 79

Fast forward to two weeks later after the burial, we all went back to Port Harcourt.

We did a pregnancy test, and it came out positive.

So Larry had to hurry with some of his uncles to start the marriage rites as soon as possible.

But trust my wicked uncles and their additional demands.

I don’t know how they got to know that Larry was wealthy because we kept it as low as possible.

They decided to frustrate every step with their demands.

But Larry didn’t want anything that would be of a hindrance.

He gave them all they demanded.

So because of that, I decided not to do a lavished traditional marriage.

We just kept it as simple as possible and went on to plan our white wedding.

I was already four months old with the pregnancy.

But I was treated and loved right.

Larry didn’t allow me to work under any stress.

Linda and Michael equally started their own marriage rites.

Michael and Larry wanted to wed on the same day.

And they worked towards achieving that.

Linda was pregnant too as we all prepared for the big wedding.

That was one of the biggest weddings in Port Harcourt.

After the wedding, which was a success.

We all traveled to Paris for our honeymoon, although we both eat the honey before time (Chuckles).

We came back after a month, and our lives continued.

But Larry and Michael stopped us from working, and Linda and I were placed in more prominent and more comfortable positions in their oil servicing firms.

We earned better with less stress too.
