We hugged for some seconds and I felt like staying in his arms forever.

I felt so safe and secured.

He withdrew a little to look straight into my eyes.

“I don’t know what life must have done to you, but I promise that from hence; I’ll make sure no tears come out from your eyes expect the tears of joy,” Larry said.

“Thank you baby,” I replied with smiles.

Our lips locked as we kissed and cuddled for a few minutes.

It felt so good to have someone love you so dearly.

I couldn’t wait for marriage with Larry anymore, because he was just everything a woman craves for.

“I got you some chocolates and ice cream,” He said in a whisper.

I smiled at the sound of that, “thank you baby,” I replied.

“You are welcome. Can I enjoy one of them with you?” he asked.

“No!” I playfully said.

“Why? Don’t tell me that you are stingy.”

“Now you know better,” I said with smiles.

We both burst into laughter.

“Please baby,” Larry begged with many pecks on my cheeks.

“That won’t work naa. Why bribe me with pecks?”

“So what do you want? Should we make a baby right away?” he sarcastically replied.

I swear, I didn’t see that response coming as we both burst into uncontrollable laughter.

“Shift away from my body before you send the baby by Bluetooth,” I playfully added.

He burst into another round of uncontrollable laughter.

I stood up and reached for the ice cream on my table.

“Come here jare, Mr. Long throat,” I teased as I opened the ice cream.

“So I’m now Long throat bah?” he playfully asked.

And he rushed my body as we played with the ice cream all through.

“Baby,” I called out.

“Yes my love.”

“I made rice,” I said.

“I will eat later.”

“I just ate with Michael before coming out.”

“That reminds me, Linda revealed to me that Michael will be visiting her today,” I inquisitively said.

“Yes, we actually drove out together,” Larry replied.

“I can see that Michael is really coping with Linda,” I conclusively said.

“Yes dear, he confided in me that he likes Linda a lot.”

“But they just met?”

“Yes baby, I’m surprised too. I just pray they click well like us,” Larry retorted.

“Hmm…I pray too.”

“Baby,” Larry called out to me.

“I want to beg you something.”

“What is it dear?”

“I want to make love to you,” he confidently said.

I didn’t see that coming, and I went speechless.

“But I didn’t ask for it,” I quickly replied.

“I know, but I want to. I’m sorry if I sound so direct baby, I can’t resist your body. You turn me on in a special kind of way.”

“I’m sorry Larry, I said I wouldn’t have sex again until my wedding night.”

“I know baby, you know if all these rigorous African wedding process was left for me alone, I would marry you this minute.”

“I’m sorry, but you just have to wait until then.”

“I can’t baby, please. I can remember telling you how I love sex so much but I respect myself with it too. I can’t have sex randomly, it must be with someone I trust and call my woman.”

“Baby, you can wait,” I cut in.

“For how long? My mummy is still acting up with her drama. And the processes are just too long for me. See Zinny, your sexual expertise struck an unusual chord in me, please trust me with your body.”

“I trust you baby, just that it’s not right morally. I still feel that it was because of the sex we had that night I was in your house that made your mother react that way towards me.”

“So you are saying we can’t make love until wedding night?” Larry asked with so much desperation in his eyes like a dying man.

“Once you conclude the traditional rites, I will be free with my body.”

“Fair enough! So if I have to eat your honeypot as I had earlier wanted, I have to hasten up with the marital plans?”

“Yes baby. I’m sorry to deny you this.”

“I perfectly understand baby, I’m not angry.”

“Thanks for your understanding,” I chimed in.

He smiled and kissed me more before we were rudely interrupted by the knock on the door.

“Are you expecting someone?” Larry asked.

“None that I know of,” I replied as I stood up to get the door.

It was our lousy gate-man.

“Madam good afternoon,” he greeted.

“Same to you, how can I help you?”

“No Madam, no be me need your help o. Na that oga wey dey stay second flat.”

“So, what about him?” I asked.

“He wants to drive out, but that oga wey come to find you block road with his car.”

“It’s alright,” I replied as I turned to Larry.

“Baby please can you go and re-park your car, someone wants to drive out.”

“Oh! So sorry,” he said as he hurriedly stood up from the bed, took his car key on the table and stepped out immediately.
